Requirements
Profession: Registered Nurse
The completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of continuing education in the licensee's current area of practice is required commencing with the renewal period of 2006. Contact hours must be completed for the 2006 renewal period by June 30, 2006. Only continuing education hours obtained in the two (2) years immediately preceding the application date will be accepted.
Profession: Licensed Practical Nurse
The completion of eighteen (18) contact hours of continuing education in the licensee's current area of practice is required commencing with the renewal period of 2007. Contact hours must be completed for the 2007 renewal period by June 30, 2007. Only continuing education hours obtained in the two (2) years immediately preceding the application date will be accepted.
Profession: Nurse-Practitioners
The completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours, contact hours of continuing education is required commencing with the renewal period of 2006. Contact hours must be completed for the 2006 renewal period by June 30, 2006. Fifteen (15) of the twenty-four (24) contact hours must include a Pharmacology component. Only continuing education hours obtained in the two (2) years immediately preceding the application date will be accepted.
Profession: Nurse-Midwives
